Et pourtant, elle tourne...
Just something you can watch over and over again. Videos like this reminds what a beautiful, astonishing world we are living in. This is a 8+ minutes long timelapse video of nightskies in Chile, taken using the Very Large Telescope (VLT).
It is a telescope operated by the European Southern Observatory and placed in the Atacama Desert, northern Chile. VLT is a pretty large telescope indeed: it consists of 4 individual telescopes, each having a mirror 8.2m across. The telescope can capture images using both visible and infrared wavelengths.
